How to Decorate Flip Flops for Summer

Flip-flops are a fun and comfortable summer fashion. They bring about the feeling of excitement the first time the weather is warm enough to slip on your favorite pair. Flip-flops can be worn around the house, to the beach or even out in public as a summer accessory. Keeping this advice in mind, you can take a pair of store-bought flip-flops and decorate them for summer casual wear.

• 1.Purchase a pair of flip-flops at a clothing or craft store. Choose a brightly colored pair to use as the base for your summer craft. Try on the flip-flops in the store and be sure they are not too short. If your toes hang over the edge of the flip-flop, choose a larger size.

• 2.Use a drop of hot glue and adhere a large flower on the toe separator of the flip-flop. Choose a summer flower such as your favorite colored daisy.

• 3. Use a paint pen to write your name across the heel of your flip-flops. Use a fun font to personalize your name. If you prefer not to write your name by hand, use small letter stickers to spell your name. If you choose this method, use a brush to place a tiny amount of clear glue over the stickers to secure them to the flip-flop.
